Christina completed her undergraduate work at King University, obtaining a major in both Psychology and English. She then attended Georgia State University, where she received a Masters in Community Counseling. And finally, with a passion for integrating her clinical training and spiritual beliefs, she pursued a Masters in Christian Counseling at nearby Richmont University.
Since that time and for the last 25 years, Christina has been practicing within the realm of counseling as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), working with young women in different life stages. Additionally, she is a registered CCATP (Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional). Christina’s style of counseling at its core is both relational and collaborative, while simultaneously drawing from person centered and cognitive behavioral approaches. She truly desires to engage each client actively in the therapeutic process.
Christina resides in Matthews, NC with her husband of 20 years and their three children.

A Few Areas of Specialization
Sometimes there is not always a clear and specific issue that brings you to counseling, but rather a general desire to learn more about yourself and grow as an individual.
This might include exploring topics such as:
Whole-Person Well Being
Healthy Boundaries
Decision Making Skills
Work/Life Balance
These can often be considered within the context of a brief therapy format consisting of 6-9 sessions.
